OH YEAH, OH YEAH, DOING A LITTLE JIG !!!

I got up bright and early this morning to book into sunday's RPM (spin cycle) class, and Steve and Lisa were up ... and they told me they got the house they were after... and move out next week!

***YES*** ***YES*** ***YES*** **YES*** ***YES***

Now of course, I do love them to bits....but oh my god, I am sick to death of them! And their mess! And their weird hours... up all night, sleeping all day, coming and going during the night and waking us up all the time..... when did they say they were going??? Like soon!!!!

A year ago I would have felt differently, but not anymore, those two need to get out into the real world and learn to look after themselves.... and maybe Mike WILL go to Auckland next year... oooo, then it will be just the 4 of us at home! IMAGINE THAT??

Wonder what that will do to the grocery bill, and the power bill ?

Today: Kids to school, walk Izzy, go to the gym...

  1. OMG!!! Thats fantastic news Chris!!! Wooooohooooo....
I was horrified at the price of your last grocery haul!!! omg.. that would feed us for about 3 months...
I can understand that the pantry must have beeen bare after being away tho...
Sounds like you are sooo enjoying being back home... Take care and hopefully chat later...

  2. Congrats on the kids getting the house they wanted!! Life may be a little quiet if it's only the 4 of you!! lol .... you may wish them back home again!! lol (Ok maybe NOT!!)
Sorry to hear of your recent results. I must say tho, I had the pre cancerous CIN3 (at 22) I was 20 weeks pregnant with Ayisha, I had to wait until I gave birth then another 6 weeks to heal from the birth.
It was a Fischer Cone Biopsy like a laser catter. They said they took so much out that I wouldn't be able to have anymore children. (which I did!! having scans every two weeks making sure the cervix was holding the baby up)
After it felt like period pain, but not that bad, I took panadol only..... nothing stronger, so if that is an indication of the after pain ..... hopefully you will feel better about it.
About the needles ...... SOOK!! *pissing myself laughting*
They don't faze me ..... Told you I had issues!! lol

  3. $785 on groceries! Oh my holy god... what do you eat?!?!

About the medical news. I'm really sorry to hear that your body now has to go through all this crap. BUT your attitude is so fantastic, that i know you are going to be fine! You have had 6 babies, no wonder your uterus has had enough... lol, i would have left you long ago!!!! Seriously though when the time comes, you will have lots of ppl thinking and praying for you!!!

  4. You will gain some space (and peace)!! Great news and they will still be near you so you won't miss them too much!

Bet the supermarket loves you guys - or maybe they step back in shock when they see the trolley heading towards the check out!

Enjoy Lone Star tonight and hope to catch you next week.

  6. Seems like good news and bad news! The outfit looks nice, but then I grew up in the 1960s-1970s, so my taste is probably "old fashioned"

  7. Great news babe. Change the locks on the door when they're gone. lol. No actually I am serious.

You will so notice the difference and yes the grocery bill and everything else will be so much less. The house will be tidier. There will be more time for you. Don't worry they still come back - but only for dinner, then they're gone again.

Sounds like you've had a great day. Awesome. Love Lonestar, enjoy your night out.

  8. Good news about the house and the negative test, not so good news about the results but you have such an amazing positive atittude and you WILL be okay.
Can't believe your bloody grocery bill, even if I did have that kind of money to spend on groceries I don't have the damn cupboard space!!

  9. Only another 2 kids to move out and you two can get up to some hanky panky :p that's only like 10yrs or so to go!! lol

  10. OOooOo Lonestar! I love that place :-D Have a great night and congrats on all of the awesome news (tuck into the Johnny Cash Stash for me, kthx?)

  11. Great news - you won't know yourself! Or your bank balance! LOL.

Bummer about the test results, but I suppose you have to take the 'it could be worse' view of things. As I already said, a hysterectomy is no biggie. You recover pretty fast and just think of the extra savings when you don't have to buy all those "women's products". :-)

I'm glad I had mine. Pity the PMS doesn't disappear along with the uterus.....

  12. I completely forgot about the outfit - LOL, typical 20-year-old comment! I hope you told him to shut the hell up!

If you like it, wear it! In fact, wear it just to annoy him - I would.

  13. Great news with the young un's, I'm sure you'll notice a huge diference in the grocery bill, though don't they contribute??

  14. I for one LOVE the outfit - it looks like something I would wear - if I had decent legs! hehe :)

  15. You wanna wear that and you call me an incredibly mad woman?! What ARE you thinking? Not only that, you had 6 kids without pain relief? Me thinks there is now WAY you should be calling me a friggin mad woman because compared to you, I am completely sane. At least your son gives an honest opinion - they are useful for those aren't they? LOL. PS Huge congrats on the impending exit - I can sense your exhilaration!

Funny but I happen to agree with you on the not feeling old....mentally. My body is not as good as it used to be....teehee but me brain is still functioning in teenage years.....YEAH BABY! Gotta show maturity sometimes though....humph!!
I do happen to have a rocking chair in the corner of my living room....at least I am prepared for when me brain catches up with me body...heehee

Quavers are very light curly maize type crisps and are yummy.

    Hugs

    Well I think so anyways..
I just got home from a quick session with the boys.. they had a golf day that started at 10 am...
obviously some of them started drinking then... but Mark didnt...
I got to the after golf venue at 6pm... and have had 4 quick cans of scotch and feeling rather inebriated... just got mark to stop at the bottle shop to pick up another half dozen... oops... not good hey!
just sitting here with corn chips and camambert... great for the diet hey!

  18. Like the overall feel of the outfit but I have to agree with Stew, don't think the round necked black top looks right under the v-neck funky top.

"fucking gay" - you now know that people won't be able to access your posts at public internet cafes he he he LOL

  20. Hurry up change the locks! Congrats on reclaiming your space. Thought you outfit looked nice.

Yes it is difficult to comprehend that a couple of weeks ago it was still snowing. Now we are experiencing a heat wave. It's like living on a Rollercoaster. Putting on the AC sounds tempting, but its just too soon. Need to feel the burn.

Not sure if its the sudden change in temperatures and humidity, but I woke up with a wonderful headache. Doing what I can to rid myself of it.

Hope you have lots of fun planned for the weekend. Take care and thanks for stopping by.
