DOGS, KIDS AND TATTOOS

Miss me???  I slept in.  Like.... really late!  I shall put this on most days:

Bex is now 36.4 days along.  Not long to go!
I am doing a 'Guess the Day, Guess the Weight' GIVEAWAY contest.
So.  How about you start leaving your guesses in a comment, and I shall note them all down.  You have until one week before he's due,  so April 24th will be the cut off day for guesses. (his due date is May 1st)
Prize?  How about a set of 6 Mug Rugs?  I like giving them away!  edit: Dante was 3 weeks early and weighed 7.3.  BUT she probably went  early due to circumstances at the time of Dante's birth.

First up for the day, me dogs before and after photos, you will see why they just HAD to be groomed!...

ABOVE:  Seriously, I doubt she could even see where she was going!  I usually trim around their eyes in between groomings, but somehow it didn't get done.
Been busy, preoccupied etc.  PLUS, Coco fights like a demon, she hates it.

ABOVE: Poor Tallulah had a mass of knots around her neck between her usual collar and the bark collar.  Obviously she can't have two on at once!  Not doing that again.

ABOVE:  He actually smiled on cue for a change!
He's a photo hog is our Dante.

ABOVE:  Now we do have a 'grown up's' table... but Dante wanted his Daddy to sit with him.  Sure doesn't look that comfortable for Steve!
But, he would do anything for his wee man.

EEKKKK.... it's tattoo day.
I'm freaking out a bit.  I've only had one done before, on the back of my neck.
This time it's in a different place.  Not saying where or what.
You have to wait.
Stew is getting one too.  Again... you have to wait and see what and where.

Our appointment is at 2 pm, in Ponsonby.  Mine is supposed to take about an hour, Stew's around 3-4 hours!  So, while he's still getting his done, the kids and I will have a good look around the Ponsonby shops.

So, that's our day planned.  Catch ya later!

ONWARD...

It's now 12.51 pm and I'm starting to feel rather nervous.  Tummy is churning type nervous.

I've done some sewing this morning, nearly finished doing the satin stitch around baby's lemur cot name bumper... so going well.   I thought I really should get if finished before he arrives.

Home.  Both done and dusted.
I can show you mine now.  I will have to take a photo of Stew's tomorrow ... he has to keep his covered until tomorrow with glad wrap cos his is much bigger than mine.

ABOVE:  Well, there it is.  I've wanted this particular saying and the anchor for years.  Now I've got it and I love it.
The meaning is pretty clear : Never Stop Dreaming, but keep yourself 'anchored' at the same time.

And of course, I love anything nautical, so the anchor is a nod to my love of the sea.

Thanks for the lovely comments re:  me tattoo.

End of Day:  well an awesome day!  Getting a tattoo hurt more than I remembered... maybe it was where I had it put?  BUT, I'm really happy with my new one. *smiles*
nite nite

  7. Hope the tattoo doesn't prove to be too painful. I'm a wuss when it comes to pain - anytime I think "Mmm .... that might make a nice little tattoo" .... I change my thinking to "holiday money" instead :)
